Starting a thread for applicants in 2021 year.

Not sure if I want to try programs elsewhere, due to living expenses. I at least have family in Fresno and the cost of living is lower, plus FCC’s program is so cheap. 

What about West Hills or College of the Sequoias? You can still commute from Fresno to those

I don't even know how people commute to those from Fresno. Gas alone would kill me, then the mileage it would put on my car, I'd end up needing a new one halfway through a program LOL!

I was just asking since your last name starts with M and Ronny's last name started with the letter J. But I just read on the FCC page that someone with the last name starting with Y also got unselected today. I guess it is random. 

I'm getting anxious. LOL

LOL.. yeah I commute to West Hills from Clovis, which isn’t too bad for me because I am close to the highway, so only about a 45 minute drive, but if gas prices keep getting higher it won’t be that good for me

What kind of vehicle do you own? I just bought a used Toyota Camry with 152k miles but it’s considered a baby because they can go to 400k miles.

It seems like no one knows anyone that has gotten selected besides the one person that commented earlier today? No one on any FB page either? The suspense is killing everyone....??

An Escalade and a Tahoe LOL! Both early 2000. They're reliable for what I need, and my husband is a handy mechanic, but their mileage is pretty high already. I also have 3 kids in car seats and when one has a problem, my husband can use the other for work still (the struggle is real sometimes).

Someone posted on fb unselected 34 min ago and said they got the unselected at 1pm today.

Those are huge cars. At baseball practices, my Camry looks so whimpy compared to everyone’s Escalade and Tahoe!

I can’t afford to commute, as is I go through a tank a week from commuting from the country in Clovis or used to be Sanger. 
 

I have a Hyundai Accent, already have 46k miles in basically 2 years because I did not drive much in 2020 or 2021. Got it new in 2017.
