How many times have you applied? Did you apply anywhere else?

I am looking into National and SJVC

That’s what they told us in the workshop last fall but maybe they changed it, I will look into it. I got into the Fresno State for the Fall but since I didn’t get into their nursing program, I had to pick another major if I decide to attend there in the Fall

Oh ya that is how it works, I saw that on their site, it’s kind of stupid. You can always just withdraw and apply again? Even though that is like $130 application, also it takes a couple years. I saw if you’re a new fresno state student and don’t get in you have to do your second major choice. Only post baccalaureate gets to apply again I guess? It’s confusing I’d ask for clarification.

I believe you can apply again to Fresno State but it would be for the Fall 2022 cycle. If you end up going to Fresno State for your second major that you chose, you have to finish that degree before applying to their nursing program. I think that's kinda dumb....I got waitlisted for Fall 2021 for Fresno State, crazy competitive.

I can call and get clarification, so what is your plan now?

Wow, I have never heard of that rule. That's ridiculous.
Private schools like National is a good idea. I have a few friends who went through Nationals and they loved it. They took the NCLEX once and passed.

Apply for Spring 22 Fresno State if I can afford it (it’s $130), maybe a miracle will happen and I’ll get in and if not, just move to Southern California, work my job, save as much as possible, keep the savings I have saved up as much as possible and try FCC again in 2022, if not then, just keep working at Blizzard and keep trying again, it’s a good gig with great people, it’s just not conducive to settling, I don’t want to be 30 with a roommate.
Not sure if I want to try programs elsewhere, due to living expenses. I at least have family in Fresno and the cost of living is lower, plus FCC’s program is so cheap.
