Fresno City College Fall 2019/Spring 2020 Application

Hi guys, I just wanted to start a forum of the application period for 2019-2020 and see who applied and how many times and what not. Also who got in and what not and just to reach out for advice. So we are all kept up to date with each other! My status still says pending so I'm hoping that changes within the next week!

This is my first time applying to FCC, I also applied to West Hills and Merced. I am praying for Fresno to accept me because it’s the shortest commute, but I honestly will drive anywhere that’s possible! Good luck to everyone!

Based on past forums, they usually wont do the lottery on the day of that it says online, but it says the week of. So I wanna say maybe the middle of the week. On the past forum, they found out two days after the day it says online.

This is my first time applying to fcc. Im so nervous. I remember talking to a counselor and she told me that 220 were getting accepted? And when I turned in my application (a week before deadline) the lady said there was about 700 applicants as of that day. Who knows if I’m correct and how many were eligible. I’m praying that I get in and best of luck to all of us!

they got 700 in that day ?? or 700 all around?

700 applicants from the day applications opened until the day I turned it in. There was a week left until the closing date so who knows how many more applied.

Is any one else still a “pending” status? Im assuming this is due to my last name being towards the end of the alphabet. Last application period the status was posted a couple of days prior to the lottery date if I remember correctly. Im sure that was a much smaller applicant pool, but still being in pending status is making me a bit nervous. ?

Also, for any one that is curious, those results were updated on Wednesday of the lottery selection week.
