Hi guys, I just wanted to start a forum of the application period for 2019-2020 and see who applied and how many times and what not. Also who got in and what not and just to reach out for advice. So we are all kept up to date with each other! My status still says pending so I'm hoping that changes within the next week!
Lets all be positive! No need to act like this is the end of the world if you dont receive the outcome you want. Im actually excited either way personally! If I get in, yay...if not I get to apply elsewhere and be excited again! Remember folks, never put all your eggs in one basket! Good luck!

I think most of us have applied to other places as well !! we are all just excited either way .. esp because some of us have been trying to get into a program for a while !!
good luck to you
Most people on here likely have applied to more than one place. Personally, not having a 2-hour commute a day will make a huge difference in my life and that's why I'm so nervous and excited to get into City. Not to toot my own horn but I scored 95.3 on the TEAS (could have gone anywhere I wanted) and I'll be devastated if I don't get in. There's nothing wrong with that. We're all anxious because we've worked incredibly hard for this and it's important to us and there's nothing wrong with that.

Have you applied for Fresno state ? You’d probably get in there easy! Or even Merced

No, the nursing counselor at City told me that Fresno State and FPU have a policy that if you already have a Bachelor's in something, you have to first get an Associate's in nursing before applying to their BSN programs (true or not, IDK but she spoke with their counselors on the phone to confirm). But, I am almost 30, have 3 kids, and simply can't afford 4 more years of college right now so it's kind of moot. I'll do my BSN after working a few years. But I did apply to COS...
