My little sister went to Gordon and it was a great experience for her. She lived in the dorms and found things to do with her friends down there around town. Macon is not that far from Barnesville, so I know on some weekends they would hang out there. I think that small schools are a wonderful place to start, especially since you already know that you want to be a nurse. You can stay focused on your goal. I think Gordon is an excellent choice.

I graduated form Gordon last year. There is NOTHING in Barnesville, but the campus is great. They have a pool, great gym, and lots of activities. The nursing instructors are great too, with the exception of only a few. If you can make it through A&P you'll be fine, but keep your GPA up and do your research when signing up for A&P; your choice of professor can make or break you.

Hey Y'all!!!
I know that I posted a similar post a few months ago about Gordon College, but I am in need of some more information and insight. I am applying now to attend there as a freshman next August. I was wondering who has attended Gordon previously or is attending now? I am really excited to attend, but was wondering what life is like out there? I am going be staying in the dorms with a good friend of mine of school, so I will be spending a lot of time at Gordon and around Barnesville. How are the Professors and dorm life? Are there any places around downtown I should know about?
I am going to be starting off as a Pre-Nursing major so I hope it goes well. Thanks for your help!
