Fresenius or Da Vita new grad

:nurse: I am a new grad & I don't have any experience in the hospital yet but I prefer to work in a Dialysis Center. I just got interviewed by Da Vita and the next day after that was Fresenius both here in Houston. Here are my questions:

1. Which benefits is better Fresenius or Da vita?

2. Salary for new grad during and after the training per hour?

3. Ratio per patient?

I am just waiting for the backgraound check for both of them. Please let me know as soon as possible before I decide which is which.

Thank you very much!

Those actually would have been great questions to ask during your interviews.

If you're looking for more general info on Dialysis centers, I know this forum has a special Dialysis specialty forum under the Specialty tab. I have also been considering going to a Dialysis center and there's several threads about DaVita in particular you might find helpful if you don't get many replies here.

Yeah you could have asked those in the interview...man it is hard to think of all the things to ask. I used to work dialysis, but not for those companies so I cannot give much input. What makes you want to go into dialysis right out of school? My friend did that, and she is now going to get a new job because she feels like she is loosing her skills. I told her she may feel that way...some people do and some dont. Either way good luck with deciding!
