Hi there! Does anyone knows any hospital in Manila or Visayas that offer training or volunteer which I don't have to pay?
I think with the current scenario this is the most entry program for RNs but I am not willing to pay for it. I know there are hospitals that won't let you pay a cent. The true meaning of volunteer should stand for itself.
If there isn't, can you share info of the name of hospitals, how much you are paying and the duration of the training. Thanks in advance. This will surely help those who are focused in their nursing career.
Ospital ng Maynila (OM) accepts volunteer nurses for free.
Here are the requirements:
Intent Letter addressed to the Hospital Director,
Resume
Photocopy of Credentials
Just passed my requirements last 23rd of March, and asked me to follow up after 2 weeks.
Hope this helps.
GOD Bless all of US!

where is Marikina Valley. I'm not familiar with the area because I'm from Manila..
HR told me that the next training will already require payment. :crying2:. But i tell you, its worth it. If you can reach Cubao, in front of Gateway Mall, along Aurora Boulevard, there are a lot of jeepneys and FX bound to SSS Vill or Parang. Ask the driver to drop you off at Marikina City Bayan/ Sports complex. From there, you can ride tricycles to take you to Marikina Valley Medical Center. Proceed to 7th floor HR office. Amang Rodriguez Hospital which you can find directly in front of Mkna Sports Complex will accept volunteers/ trainees by August.
i dont think there's any hospital in metro manila that would allow non-passers to volunteer. but i think what you could do is to look for institutions that offer supplemental trainings that doesnt require an RN License.
