Hello all, I'm half way through my second semester of an ADN program and was wondering if any of you are aware of free test banks online. I'm putting the hours in to studying the actual content but know nursing exams are all about practice.
Thanks in advance.

There's a big difference between practice questions and test banks. Which are you asking for? Because if it's practice questions you want, try RegisteredNurseRN (she has a Youtube channel and a website). Here's a link: https://www.registerednursern.com/nursing-student-quizzes-tests/
If it's actual test banks that you're looking for (as in the banks that your school selects real exam questions from), know that that is not practice. That is cheating.
I hope it was the first one, though! Best wishes.

Hey Cameron, thanks! ?
Yeah I was meaning the first one. My school utilizes a program (PrepU) with built in practice questions and explanations but our Maternal text isn't covered.

Sure, just type "free question banks" or "free NCLEX questions" and you should find them online. That should help you practice. You can also use "UWorld", it's not free but it's good.

Every year about this time people post illicit access to test banks that faculty use to construct exams. Most years then we see wailing about how they got caught. Not only can this get you thrown out if school, it can also get you on the wrong end of legal action for copyright infringement.
What you want are NCLEX Test Prep books. Yes, even for your school exams. They cover the same material and for the same reason: to see if you’ll know enough to graduate and be a safe beginner. Get the ones that give you the rationales for why the wrong answers are wrong, not just why the right ones are right, and you’ll be learning more and teaching yourself test-taking skills all at once.

I want to caution you not to go down the easy path. Seeking varied questions is fine but do not try to seek the questions that might show up on the exam. Any good instructor will notice a drastic change in performance.
What I did while in nursing school was a search for previous editions of NCLEX prep books on Amazon. I found at least a dozen that had varied questions and were great study material. I would usually pick them up used for a few bucks each. It was a bargain.
