free Drexel ACE books

Published

I have a stack of books i don't want. I'm keeping a few of the critical books I think I may refer to in future. The rest I'd like to donate to a student(s)... they are from the 2008/09 class, so even if this year uses a new edition, they are relevant. please contact me asap with a phone number or good contact as i'm moving tomorrow (forgot about them until i finished packing and found them in a closet) and would like to know they went to a good home where they'll get used!

what are drexel ace books exactly?

I know that I am months late but do you still have the Drexel Ace books? I start this Spring and do not mind using books a few editions older.

i do but i moved to new orleans.

i'd be happy to mail them to you media rate (the post office offers a big discount for sending books). if you're interested i'd check which books youll need then let me know. i can let you know what i can gift to you, there's only a couple that i want to keep, and you can let me know which ones youll need (there is a book list if you want to send it to me) then you could just give me what ever the cost of shipping is which would be far less than buy the books. certainly all the books won't be the same, but the ones' that are shouldn't' be that different and while i always read the texts, i have to admit that they are not a priority, ie, focus on the class notes and don't fret if you have a later edition of the class texts b/c the prof's don't rely on them that heavily so if there are slight variations in a years addition i don't foresee it being a problem for you.

just let me know if you're interested, i'd been contemplating recycling them but it's such a shame to let them go to waste if someone can use them.

good luck with the ace program- make sure you make every effort to talk to other people who've done it so you know what you're getting into! its a tough program and it's best to be sure its the way you want to go. it is a good sign you're prepping yourself by considering the materials youll need ahead of time. make sure you have the support of friends/family or classmates and be prepared to sleep very little and work your ass off!

Thx alot for your response! I am definitely interested in the books that you do not want and really appreciate your kindness in offering them for free. That being said how could I complain about shipping costs! I definitely do not mind paying for shipping but how would I send you payment? And how much would it cost approximately? Unfortunately, Drexel has yet to forward us a booklist so if you don't mind can you just send all the books you do not need?

Thx for the advice and congrats on being a successful Acer!!:yeah: When did you attend the program?

ok, i'll be happy to do that. still, i feel like the books change from quarter/quarter or class to class so i'd recommend getting the list if you can. when do you start?

chris

Im sure they probably have changed a bit( you didn't tell me when you finished the program), but I'd rather take my chances on this opportunity rather than wait until the last minute in anticpation for Drexel's booklist.I start in March.

Are the books still available?

hello, i'm sorry for the delay, i've been very very busy but if you want the books i can mail them to you this week. infact, if you're interested let me know and i'll go ahead and give you my personal email and phone number so we can coordinate. again, sorry for the delay, i've been very busy the past couple weeks (changing jobs :-)
