  1. Any other previous acer's have the Calculate with Confidence book for sale?
  2. Thx hiddencat, I'm all set up for my email acct so I'll be on the look out for it the next few weeks.
  3. Are the books still available?
  4. Thx nursingyogi, I will pm my email address. And I def keep in mind its from the previous year...I'm just interested in seeing how extensive it is... Hiddencat, will we get the actual booklist at our orientation?
  5. nursingyogi, did that person give you the booklist for the entire program or jusyt 1st quarter? If you have the entire list did u mind posting it or pming it to me? I would also like to get a jumpstart on purchasing the necessary books at a much cheaper cost. Thx in advance
  6. Im sure they probably have changed a bit( you didn't tell me when you finished the program), but I'd rather take my chances on this opportunity rather than wait until the last minute in anticpation for Drexel's booklist.I start in March.
  7. Thx alot for your response! I am definitely interested in the books that you do not want and really appreciate your kindness in offering them for free. That being said how could I complain about shipping costs! I definitely do not mind paying for shipping but how would I send you payment? And how much would it cost approximately? Unfortunately, Drexel has yet to forward us a booklist so if you don't mind can you just send all the books you do not need? Thx for the advice and congrats on being a successful Acer!! When did you attend the program?
  8. Thx so much for the tips...don't worry I understand completely and it doesn't sound scattered at all. I will definitely take ALL of your advice!
  9. Thx alot Hiddencat, good to know I was able to get atleast some of the necessary books needed for only 10 bucks each. And I definitely have to check bigwords.com out because I've never heard of it...and am all about saving money!! I know exactly what you mean when you say "endure", I've met a few of those myself in undergrad but the ones who are great at what they do tend to overshadow them. Any tips for us new Acers for Q1-Q2? Since you have weathered the storm and are at the halfway point is there any habits/skills you would change or keep in order to stay focused? Congrats for you progress...Your almost there:yeah:!!!
  10. Thx for the opinions on the professors. Are most of them pretty enjoyable? AugustRain or Hiddencat,do you remember when you guys got your booklist because we haven't gotten anything yet. I would like to get a headstart on finding some used books for the upcoming semester. AugustRain,if you can recall the booklist I asked your advice about.....I just got them all since she gave me all 10 for $100. Are any of them for first quarter? Here they are again. 12. AugustRain, I remember reading posts that professors and classes can change closer to the first day of classes so I definitely won't etch anything in stone..I guess I'm just more excited that everything is turning into a reality. Would you mind reviewing what they've scheduled so far to see if anything is missing? My schedule is as follows: Monday Info 204-A-8AM-9:50AM Nursing 200-10AM-11:50AM Nursing 201-1PM-3:50PM Tuesday Nursing 337-8AM-9:50AM Nursing 102-10AM-11:50AM Nursing 201-1PM-3:50PM Wednesday Nursing 200-10AM-11:50AM Info 204-1PM-2:50PM Thursday Nursing 101-10AM-11:50AM Friday Nursing 200-6:30AM-2:50AM
  13. I know that I am months late but do you still have the Drexel Ace books? I start this Spring and do not mind using books a few editions older.
  14. Hi Guys...check your student schedule under Drexel One,our class schedules are posted !!!!!!!!!!! Time for count down...
  15. Hi All! Quick question, Do we need a full physical to enter the program or only a 2-step PPD. I contacted the Worknet Occupational Health Center on Broad and Vine and I thought the physical included a PPD, but actually they are completely seperate and I'm definitely not going to pay for a physical if I don't need it. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.
