I have to take my NCLEX on monday and if I pass I am supposed to call a hospital that wants to interview me for a ICU job. Has anyone out there started in ICU. I'm just a little scared but excited at the same time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated especially for the interview.

Wow!
ICU huh? You should brush up on the basics plus read about critical care nursing. That would help you a lot.
Also, attend your seminars like BLS, ACLS etc. as you will need them when you start.
With regards to the interview be prepared to be asked about nursing scenarios, some even ask for a nursing care plan! Especially since your going to be in ICU you need to show your interviewer that you can handle the job.
And of course, nothing beats confidence and a smile. Wear appropriate attire, not too much make-up but you should be groomed well. Be polite and be honest if you don't know stuff.
Good luck and I hope you get the job! :)

I'm an ICU new grad. For the interview, what the last poster said, plus be prepared for character questions regarding your ethics, leadership ability, and ability to think critically under pressure and handle challenging situations.
As far as what starting in ICU is like... 51% excitement, 49% nervousness... and that line is easy to push either way. It's a huge challenge but also an incredible opportunity. I highly recommend it.
