Freaking out a little! Taking NCLEX-RN tomorrow!

Published

Okay, so my family doesn't necessarily understand the anxiety here, but you all do. I just wanted to vent a little. I am very excited, yet nervous about taking the NCLEX tomorrow. I originally scheduled June 5th cause that was the first available date/time, but then one came up on 5/24 the next state over and I jumped on it. I feel good with my studying and am ready to get this over with. I know a little anxiety about the test is normal and I definitely don't want to go in over-confident or without respect for this exam. I guess I'm just sitting in my hotel room hoping for a little last-minute encouragement!

My study materials:

NCSBN - been getting 60's to 80's on post-tests and question banks

Saunders 5th edition - 70's-80's on exams/quizzes/assessment

Reviewing all rationales

ATI NCLEX mobile app for iPhone

All Nurses study guide (if you were a contributor to that, THANK YOU!)

I got a 98% probability of passing on the ATI comprehensive predictor that we did in school a month or so ago and a level 3 on nearly all ATI exams areas.

I can do this!!!

Specializes in Post-Surgical, Urology, Short Procedures.
Thank you all for the words of encouragement!! I finished in 1 hr 20 min and got 75 questions. I feel pretty good about it although there is always room for that little nugget of doubt. But I got the GOOD pop-up from Pearson, so I'm pretty sure I passed!! Now if I can pry myself away from checking for my license number to show up online...

Yayyyyyyyy!!!!!!

Congrats! What methods of preparation your used?
