Freaking out over FULL summer classes

Published

I'm having the worst time getting registered for my final two pre-req's!

(rambly back story) I changed my student status from transient-student to degree-seeking just before summer registration opened. This set off a chain reaction of glitches in the system that leaves me with 0 classes for the summer. I go to one office to get a hold removed, then another pops up. I see an advisor who updates my record, then when I go to register there is ANOTHER hold preventing me from registering. I spent all of Friday chasing a trail of errors and still ended the day with 0 classes. Arrrrgh!

On Monday, I'm going to the campus to get all of this straightened out once and for all. But.... the summer classes I need are already FULL. And if I can't finish up this summer, I have to wait to apply for the Fall 2011 program, instead of the Spring.

I'm reaching panic mode. Anyone else feel like they have a big ole hex on them? :crying2:

What are my chances of begging my way into a full class?? How about two full classes (and their corresponding labs!)???

Update: My mystery hold was removed this morning. The system didn't recognize my old AP English scores and upper-level English classes, and thought I did not meet the eng/reading requirements. Simple enough to fix, thank goodness.

The advisor was wonderful and assured me that if I am unable to get the last class I need, to come see him on the first day of class and he will take care of it. :redbeathe He is quiiiite different from the previous advisors I've had at the uni.

So far, I'm definitely in A&P2 + lab and an elective (to raise the ole GPA). Just need Micro and I'm back on schedule! :D
