FranU CRNA 2019

Published

Anyone else applied to Franciscan University OLOL for class starting in 2019?

Have you interviewed here before Alj12814?

No. All I know is that it's a panel interview and they ask a good mixture of personal and clinical questions. Know ur unit and the meds u give

I'm pretty much doing the same, my CCRN book is almost destroyed now with the amount of times I've flipped through it. I'm hammering hemodynamics right now then going back to my field again.

Hey if you want I made a groupme Chat for the people reviewing for interviews. Here's the link if you want to join You're invited to my new group 'CRNA' on GroupMe. Click here to join: GroupMe

Anyone else here back on if they got accepted or not?

Yeah! I was accepted

There are plenty others! Most people are on the groupme

Specializes in ICU/CCU/MSICU.

I have an interview with Fran U...would love to know the types of clinical questions or personal questions they asked? how long did you hear for acceptance after interviewing? if I could have a general insight on how they conduct their interview would be great too.

Hello,

Be prepared for personal and clinical questions. For example, If you put you have experience with CVVHD then know that in and out. Know mechanism of action of vasoactive drugs, diagnostic findings for medical conditions that you are familiar with. Ventilator management is a big topic as well. Interview is what I would consider relaxed but I’m only comparing that to some of the other stories I have heard. Don’t be afraid to say you don’t know the answer to something! They know if your BSin them. My recommendation is to say you don’t know in a professional way then go a research the answer and send them the correct answer. Shows them that you are humble enough to say you don’t know and that you took the time to figure out the answer! If you have any more questions let me know! Good Luck!

I heard back in exactly one week from my interview date. Good Luck!
