Hey everyone! Just wanted to get this thread started for those applying to CRNA school at FRANU for the Spring 2026 semester. We can stay in touch/post questions here for support!
@SoutheRN14 @animeNanesthesia I received an interview and have a 3.5 overall GPA, not sure of my Science GPA off the top of my head I have been a nurse for 11 years, CCRN, ER and ICU experience (multiple different kinds of ICUs). On various councils and committees over the last 11 years depending on the facility I have been in. Preceptor, charge nurse and volunteering regularly over the last 7 years with unhoused populations. Hope this helps.
Has anyone heard what the interview process looks like or how many they are interviewing? I looked back through the old posts on the interview process so maybe it's similar?....
I will be in town on the 24th for my interview... although I didn't get a confirmation email... Good luck everyone!
Okay, now I'm starting to see why I didn't get an interview LOL. I have a 3.4 overall GPA, 3.2 science GPA (if you include algebra and stats, 3.0 of just strictly sciences). I've been a nurse for 6 years, with 4.5 of those years being in the MICU; I traveled doing step-down/PCU for the other 1.5 years and took 1 ICU travel assignment during that time as well. I have my CCRN. I bombed my GRE twice and frantically sent the scores to FranU, obviously not thinking. I have rapid response/code blue nurse experience, I'm currently in UPC on my unit, and I shadowed a CRNA for about 20 hours. My stats aren't horrible, but I know with the recent application cycles it's not competitive. I'm not giving up though! Even if it means waiting to apply again next year I'll do what I have to do.

Keep your head up! It's not a race, it's a marathon 😊

@SoutheRN14 LOL I literally was gonna ask the same thing! I didn't get an invite either. Feeling pretty blue as well, but our fight isn't over! We're gonna get that "yes" one day!
