@FAITHNICOLE I'm wondering the same thing! How are questions "worded" when it comes to drugs, pathophysiology, etc... Is it open ended or do they ask you specific things? @Hoosierroaming @HopefulCRNA2024 Thank you for your responses too btw!! 🙂 VERY helpful! This will also be my first CRNA interview so any pointers is so very much appreciated!

I interview tomorrow afternoon. I'll try to report back about my interview but from what I've read on here and heard from people in the past it seems laid back and like you guide the interview, which is helpful!

@Hoosierroaming Thank you for that insight! How many people interviewed you out of curiosity? How in depth did the questions get?

Pretty straight forward. I didn't feel like there was any trick questions. I'd know your common used medications and then know everything about it. Class/MOA/dose+titration+max/need to know (which you do, you work with them). I don't do a lot of neuro so I wasn't asked about neuro things and I didn't bring it up....so there wasn't any random questions about mannitol.

@FtrCRNA1995 Best of luck to you today!

Thank you!! It went well. My interview was more clinical heavy than I was expecting, but they were so down to earth and personable. Even had some laughs a few times. Like other people said they asked me what I wanted to talk about after some EI/personal questions.

@FtrCRNA1995 That's wonderful news!! Happy it went well for you! I'm glad to hear they're down to earth and the whole experience seems more "laid back". How in depth were some of the questions and were they worded as being open ended or more specific do you think?

Started off open ended. I told them what I wanted to talk about they said OK tell me about it. From there they started asking direct questions. Some of the direct questions were directly related to what I said, but there was a few that were more out of left field. It was about the topic I chose, but nothing I had mentioned. Those were the questions I said "I don't know" to LOL.

@FtrCRNA1995 Thank you sooo much for your input! Much appreciated 🙂 I'll try to focus on studying what I plan to talk about then haha! How many people interviewed you?

Any current students that attend that can speak about their experience with this program? I've heard many great things but if I'm being honest IDK how I feel about living in baton rouge LOL.

I have friends who are in the area and have had former students tell me about the area. I'd definitely research the area if you haven't. Reddit is great too. I don't know what you're looking for or trying to avoid. I partly chose this school for the area but we might not have the same needs/wants

Mostly just trying to avoid high crime rate cities ... which appaerently baton rouge is as per my research. But I am out of state so I know nothing about the city.
