I figured I would get a thread going as we all wait (not) patiently for interview invites!

Has anyone heard anything yet?

This! Your background is impressive! I think it really sucks that one has this and does well on the interview and it mostly boils down to the casper test. I didn't do well on the test either cuz it was so short timed and by the time I put im my response the timer was up. But I hope we all get into the right school for us

Hey it wasn't meant to be! We will get in somewhere else! ?

Congratulations to folks whom received acceptance letters (complete with scrolling wolves)! I made us a facebook Group:

FranU CRNA Class of 2026

If you're waitlisted, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. If you didn't get in, keep your chin up, and keep on keeping on. Life has a way of working out how it needs to. But I know the disappointment is really real.

I didn't do well on Casper either. I had a 3.8 GPA for science and overall. I took the gre and ccrn. I have over 7 years of ICU experience.

Specializes in MICU.

At this point I'm ? the Casper test was the deciding factor. I wish everyone all the best!

I'm not even sure my Casper test was graded when I had my interview. I ended up hospitalized with food poisoning, and I couldn't take my test on my scheduled date. I was able to reschedule it for the last few days of July, so I still don't even know what quartile I was in, and I believe it takes them weeks to grade the silly thing. I suspect FranU has a much more holistic process than boiling it down to one EQ test, but I could also be wrong!

Specializes in SICU, CVICU.

Got the acceptance!!

2 years of ICU exp: 1 yr SICU, 1 yr medium acuity CVICU no VADs and ECMO

bottom 25th percentile on Casper

Interview experience felt great!

Specializes in Neuro ICU.

I personally did really poorly on the Casper  and I was waiting for them to bring it up so I could explain why that test was such a poor method of testing one's EI. I therefore don't feel like it had a huge weight on their decision. My Stats: GPA 3.51, Science GPA 4.0, Math GPA 4.0, Nursing GPA 3.4.
4.5 total years of experience, 3.5 in ICU (1 in MICU, 2.5 travel mix but mostly Neuro Trauma ICU). CCRN, GRE 310. Casper -25th percentile (yikes) interview was looonggg solid 50 minutes until I told them I'll have to look it up LOL.

I'm not really certain about that. It was my first interview. I know it was other areas I need to improve on. I did some mock interviews post my FranU interview. If you want, I can send the CRNA information that I used for my mock interview.

I would like that please

Specializes in ICU.

My stats:

Cumulative GPA: 3.5, Science GPA: 3.6, Last 60 (All nursing school) GPA: 3.95.

CVICU with all devices: 1.5 years.

CCRN

UBC committee co-chair

No GRE/2nd percentile on Casper.

I personally think I did poorly on the interview, so I felt a denial coming my way after walking out of the interview. I did love the school though, and will apply again next year. I'll use the time between now and then, to improve my candidacy (GRE, improved Casper score, etc).

Good luck to everyone on their journey of getting in! It'll happen when the time is right.

For those who got waitlisted does your email notification say alternate/waitlist?
