I figured I would get a thread going as we all wait (not) patiently for interview invites!
Has anyone heard anything yet?

I have mostly cvicu background, but I've worked in neuro, trauma, and MICU as well. I have a pretty wide variety of experience with devices but one thing I know I did poorly one was the Casper. IDK how heavily they score everything but I know I missed points on that

Yea you seem to have a solid background. I did poor on the Casper as well. I guess we will never know their reason then. We just have to move on I guess. Good luck to everyone. I hope we will all get into a school that is meant for us.

I also scored low on the Casper test. No telling what was their reasoning though.

I know someone who got in last year who said she thought she bombed the interview but did particularly well on Casper and got in. So I think the Casper is a bigger deal than we thought

That's interesting so why invite students who did poor on the Casper for an interview in the first place if Casper plays a huge role!

I got in and my stats were:
First job 8 months experience in ED, 1.5 years Neuro/trauma ICU with charge experience, 1.5 years of Covid travel, 1 yr CVICU taking all devices and ecmo. I scored in the 75th percentile on Casper.
also played a division 1 sport so I talked about how that would make me successful.
hope this helps!

I have 1.5 years of cv with all devices, then travel to all types of ICU as well now working in the ICU float pool. Played a d1 sport, and served in the military. I thought the interview went well. I think then it came down to the Casper score

This! Your background is impressive! I think it really sucks that one has this and does well on the interview and it mostly boils down to the casper test. I didn't do well on the test either cuz it was so short timed and by the time I put im my response the timer was up. But I hope we all get into the right school for us
