I'm surprised a thread hasn't been made yet for the residency program coming up. Well, interviews are almost here and I was wondering where everyone will be interviewing! I will be interviewing for L&D. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I've only heard of people getting offers from those same units, also. I tried contacting one of the recruiters, but have not heard back yet. Needless to say..I am going a tad crazy playing this waiting game. :)

Hello everyone! I'm glad to have found this!

I interviewed on Monday for ICU, got an offer call on Wednesday afternoon, and proudly accepted the position :)

It's probably no surprise, but I'm SUPER EXCITED to start!! This interview trail has gone on long enough and I absolutely cannot wait to start this new journey with you all!

Wow congrats! I am a bit frustrated because I too was offered an ICU position. They pulled me aside immediately after my interview on Monday to inform me, but they have yet to call me and officially extend the offer. I've received no emails either. I guess they changed their minds??

Hey y'all! I interviewed that Monday and was extended an offer in the ER immediately after my interview and then got an official offer on Tuesday. I am very excited that the search is now over!

So those of you who didn't get an offer... did you get a rejection email? I know someone got a rejection email but I still haven't gotten one. I'm wondering if it's because MedSurg departments are still deciding or if they just forgot to send me one.

I am in a similar situation. After my interview, I was offered a position in their ICU. Great! They told me that they would call me that Friday (1/5) with the offer. Never received a phone call. Last Wednesday (1/10), I received a phone call from their recruiter saying that they had to clear things up with administration and he acknowledged they offered me a job and that he would get back to me. It's now been two weeks since my initial interview, and I have heard nothing. Not a single email. I've called the recruiter multiple times and even left a message, but still nothing. Honestly, not entirely sure this hospital is somewhere I want to work anymore. How can a hospital offer someone a position and then never speak to them again? What the hell...

Did you call Kaitlyn or was this another recruiter? That's unfortunate... I've read lots of stories about that happening. I hope they get back to you! They verbally offered you, the least they could do is tell you they decided to go with another candidate or follow up in any way!

To those that were verbally offered the position and havent heard back. Have you emailed the HR person you spoke to. I'd try and contact them by phone and email (even smoke signals if I had to). Good luck.
