found an NLN pre-RN exam PREP COURSE!

hey everyone! i dont know if anyone out there is looking for a review/prep course for the NLN pre-RN exam... but i found one!! i can't even find one in the city of chicago!

Harper Community College in Palatine is the only one that I've come across thus far. They offer 2 sections for the summer. One section is reaching its max (class begins June 9th) and the other section which begins in July still has about 18 seats left. Both sections are held at Harper Community College's main campus in Palatine and both sections are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-9pm for 7 sessions. The cost for tuition is $199.

Just thought I'd put this out for everyone since I know I was trying to find a prep/review course.

Hi- I am wondering if you took the NLN prep class and if it is worth it?

Any advice would be great! I am considering taking the class this fall and I am signed up for the NLN in Jan.

Have you taken the NLN? I am trying to get into the DMS (ultrasound) program at Harper.

i took the class and thought it was pretty helpful. especially with the verbal and math portions. the tips they give you for the verbal portion are really helpful (my score for verbal sky rocketed the second time i took it) and brushing up on math never hurts (classmates and instructors give time saving tips and tricks for basic math).

the first time i took the nln this past feb, i scored in the 85th percentile, after taking the review course, my composite percentile went up to 94! i think i have the review course and testing effects (recalling info/questions/answers) from the 1st try that worked to my advantage.

I also took it at Harper and I think it was well worth it. I would suggest scheduling your NLN exam right after the prep class for maxium retention :) It's now $225 and it's under their continuing education section.
