I've heard many things, good and bad about the Fortis Institutes. I really would like opinions and facts about the Pensacola location, and other locations you may have attended.
I'm looking into the RN program, probably night classes. The cost isn't pretty, but if the school is good and I can get hired quickly afterwards, I'll deal with the loans.
I hear things like, places won't employ you if they've heard you've graduated from Fortis. I've ALSO heard, employers don't look at the place, but rather whether or not you are licensed.
Any advice is great!!
Thanks!

I graduated from a Fortis LPN program in Virginia back in 2012. I had great instructors and learned a great deal in those 15 months. I worked at a family clinic for a few years, and I recently started working for the government as a GS 6 LPN at our local army base. Trust me, the only thing that matters is that you know your job duties, and that you have your license. :)

I go there now. I am doing well but it is an abusive hell hole. A prison like atmosphere run in a nazi like way. They take your money and give u nothing for it. They flunk people and kick them out and no one will take their credits. Steer clear.
