Fort Worth apartments?

Published

Hello Texans, Who knows of a great apartment complex in Fort Worth?

I am mostly interested in the south west, closer to TCU the better.

I would like something nice and safe with a pool and gym. Thanks.

Hello,

Well try Hulen area ( Hulen and Byrant Irving streets) On Bryant Irving is more high class and pricey 10 to 15 min from TCU. The west side has cheaper places but I think the crime is higher (may be wrong, thats just my opinion) . I hope this helps.

My BF lives at an Amli property. Upper West Side. It is great and close to downtown and minutes to TCU.

Chip, have you tried googling apartments, Fort Worth?

I found a lot of great properties, and even a few very nice ones that accept dogs!

Some are pretty pricey, but may be worth the extra $ for security - like the ones near the Amon Carter Museum.

Good Luck - I hope you find just what you are looking for!

I second the Cityview area . Many nice new apartments and townhouses .

A good place to be near if you are looking for work . A new hospital district is going in and the area is really nice . :nurse: Good Luck!

Where is the new hospital district, exactly? Near the new Pier 1, or where the HUD housing used to be, or is it over by the osteopathic hosp? Haven't been over there in a while.

The hospital distric has always been downtown by Harris ,Plaza ,Baylor All Saints Osteo. Now Cityview does have a Baylor All saints Cityview, Harris Southwest, Lifecare and Kindred, those have been their for years they are not new. :)

Yes I agree , the hospital districts are as you say to the locals. However , working in that area it has quickly become known to the new medical workers in the area as * new hospital district *. Somehow it helps with confusion. :)

As I offered , the *new* hospital district is located in the area south west of Fort Worth . Bryant Irvin Road ( south of I-20 ) is the best to discribe. Also south Hulen . There are dozens and dozens and streets and streets of new apartments and townhouses ( new as in 3-5 years ) .

From the information I get the area is expected to double in medical availability in the next decade or so . There are plans for Baylor to buy and build with Harris close behind. There is already a mixture of hospital , long term care and rehab in the area . Rehab is the BIG word for the future.

Good Luck! ps/ sorry it took so long to post ...I have been *on call* YUK!!

Harris already has a hospital on Bryant Irving. Do you mean they are going to add on or build a bigger hospital? They just finished remodeling a lot of the building. My PCP and OBGYN are at Harris Southwest and my DS's ped is across the street.

Thanks for the clarification, gitane. Glad you have a little time to breathe. I've been covered up, as well.

I will agree with rehab taking over. I work at a alzheimers/rehab on oakmont and the whole center has turned over to accomidate this rehab BOOM. We are rehabin the furniture.....

Hi. I am currently putting up in a rented apartment in Texas, Dallas. My rental agreement is about to expire in a month and i'll have to leave this place. Can anyone help me in finding another apartment in the Dallas area only.
