Hi, I'm going to Fort Sam Houston for 68C (LPN) AIT training (53 weeks long) & and I was just curious if anyone on here has gone there and would be able to share what it was like?
or if anyone has gone through 68C and would be willing to share their thoughts on that MOS?
As a younger girl being there for so long, should I have any concerns/and or worries?

Show up 15 minutes early for everything, always show up in the right uniform, don't drink underage, and don't eat the dessert in the DFAC (dining facility). Focus on your training and PT. Visit the Alamo and the Riverwalk when you are allowed to go off post. Don't get involved with people who are senior to you, especially NCOs and officers (I know, but it happens all the time). Sexual assault is an issue in the military, and alcohol is involved much of the time. Watch your buddies' backs and they'll watch yours.
This is an exciting time! Enjoy the experience, but be safe & smart. Good luck!!

Wow congrats , this is a very competitive MOS!! I was a LPN back when it was called 91C . My advice to you would be is study study study . Sam Houston is all about fun but you will have time for later on. Find a study group and stay focused and organized and you will succeed!! Good luck !!
