Forsyth Tech 2018 Practical Nursing Program

Published

Hey everyone I'm starting this post to see who is applying to the fall 2018 LPN program at forsyth. If you are what option are you choosing (day or weekend)? and what is your total amount of points.

No I havent I applied for 2018. I have several friends and as well as others that I know that selected the stokes option and prefer it over main. its not as competitive as main I've noticed.

@daqueen91 are you applying to forsyth

yes fingers crossed

I took the TEAS without studying and somehow managed to get a 77.3 and I've only taken one course; pysch 150 with an A. I didn't plan the LPN route, so this is really like playing the lottery for me; I don't think im gonna win (aka get accepted) but I had to try XP.

I ended up with 89.3 points and that cutting it close from last years lowest points that were accepted. I also applied to Gaston with 11 points out of 14.

I'm taking English and Anatomy & Physiology this semester and maintaining A's in both courses thus far. If i don't get into the LPN program this year I won't be too upset about it since I'll still be on track for RN. I really wish I would've studied and retaken the TEAS. I will definitely retake it once I'm done with Anatomy&Physiology since that was my weak spot because I had yet to take the course :p

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! Maybe I'll see yall in the fall ;D

Has anyone heard back yet ? Please share if you got accepted and to what program.

I'm thinking maybe sometime next week atleast maybe a change in my techlink

You're right , maybe by next week specially since they will open up registration by the 15th. What should we be looking for as far as a change on techlink?

I have read from previous forums that if you where accepted in techlink it would change fffom Gen. Occupational Practical Nursing to just Practical Nursing

Thank you for the info. I will keep checking to see if there's any change. I am trying stay focused even if I don't get accepted.

You're welcome and me too but hopefully we all will get iní ¾í´ží ¼í¿¾í ¾í´ží ¼í¿¾

Are any of you ladys currently working as CNAs ? i would like to do some kind of perdiem night work . I know that the pay here in NC is way different from NY .

I've seen on previous forums that its usually in the 20's of March that their techlink changes. I've been looking everyday this month anyway XD I'm thinking it may change the week after next. However, I'm on the border between accepted and waitlisted so I don't know. It would be nice if someone will comment when it changes for them! I know I will be one of the first on here celebrating and informing others about it if mine does :p
