Forsyth ADN Fall 2014

Published

Hey guys! I just thought I'd make a thread relevant to those individuals applying for the Fall 2014 Nursing program at Forsyth Technical Community College.

I'm definitely a bit apprehensive about getting in, and thought this may be a good way to communicate to my fellow (or previous) applicants.

My current points (subject to change since I am retaking the TEAS exam 2-19) are 159. From my understanding of the points and the statistical data provided over the last 4 years, that's towards the low end of when they begin accepting individuals for the program!

What are your points? Have you guys applied before? Are you nervous? (I know I am!)

So looks like I will get my letter tomorrow. Around 5pm cause my mailman is so late! Mb, looks as if we will be meeting soon!

I messaged you

Ok, so I was giving the mail people the benefit of the doubt. I still haven't gotten my letter and I have messaged the admissions counselor. Unfortunately, she won't be in until Monday. MB, did you program change online? mine went from General occupational tech to Assoc. degree nursing-adv. placement on web advisor. I am frustrated because I had 169 points so I feel confident, I just want to visually see it. And also, is there a certain time we have to accept our seat by?

Yes...there is a certain date..not home right now but will look when I get there. My friend got his letter and my other got hers saying she was alternate. Did you get my Facebook msg?

I didn't. What's your name in Facebook??? Do you know what their points were? Oh and how close to school do you guys live? Maybe it just takes a bit for mail.

Misty Boger-Duplisea and I could walk to ftcc

april 7th is deadline to accept

Is anyone that got accepted into nursing school working during the program?

Ure I will have to work but don't know if they will work around it. I will ask her Tue. If she don't I'm going to have to find different job. I was planning on working weekends

I am going to work. Worked through the lpn program
