Former CNA.. Can I get cert in AZ?

I got my cna cert in 2004 in Oregon-- I worked for a little bit and then I went back to college.

It's obviously expired now, but is it possible to retake the test in AZ with out paying for school again???

Im not sure, but call the AZBN...they will be answer that. Unless someone pops on here and answers it for you!

i had to retake the entire class although mine had been expired since 2000 so not sure... but from what I hear you have to take the whole thing over again as AZ does not recognize an expired CNA

I agree with AZMOMO. I was just checking mine out since it lapsed. If you didn't go to school within the last 2 years, or worked atleast 120 verifiable hours as a CNA every 2 years since school, you are outta luck. go to www.azbn.gov and click on applications and then the CNA application, the first few pages will spell it out for you. Sorry!!!
