I am a stay at home mom - 2 kids (1 and 5) I have an associates in science 3.6 gpa and BS in Marketing and International Business 3.3 gpa. I think I would like to get a BSN - it would take 2 years. I am torn on when I should do this. I think that 3-12 would be OK for my family - I would probably hire a nanny & have grandparent help for those days. Is that what most of you do with younger kids? What are your recomendation with young kids? I am a active and involved mom - I am OK with missing a few things here and there but want to make as many school/funtions as possible. I want to work in a NICU PICU area - but I that could change with experence in school (my daughter was a NICU baby so I am a bit familar with that) I have 3 classes that I need to take ASAP (they start in 3 weeks) to finish my pre reqs and take teas to get accepted in the next class.

Hi I would ask these questions to the nurses in the state that you live in or wish to work. Different locations tend to have different scheduling practices. They will also have a better idea about the work prospects ect.
