am looking forward to join my husband in North Carolina before the year ends.i recently graduated from a nursing school in the Philippines.i would like to know what are the requirements that can enable me to qualify to take NCLEX and probably work there? please advise

The place to start is the NC Board of Nursing application for license by examination as an internationally educated nurse. The NCLEX is one step in the licensing process. As far as qualifying to work, you need to determine your eligibility for working rights/visa/permanent residence status.

Do you have a valid social security number? NC BoN will not issue a license until you are able to provide a valid social security number.
