Foreign Nurse working in Canada

I just passed the Nursing Licensure Exam and I'm not quite sure with what to do next after registering for a professional license. My family has applied for immigration to Canada for 5 years now. What would be the requirements needed for me to be able to practice nursing in Canada's hospitals?

Have you pass CRNE or applied to any of the province's college of RN's? Until you have then not really worth approaching hospitals

CRNE is the Canadian Nurses Association Examination right? I haven't yet taken anything since I'm just a new graduate and a new nurse here in the Philippines.

Well starting point would be applying to the province college of RN's and seeing if you are eligible to sit CRNE

Would also suggest you read the stickies both in the Canadian forum and the one on SEC in the International forum as you may have to do SEC but a lot will depend on which province you are applying to

I wouldn't wait until you get here to start the process as it can be a long process. I would suggest you start soon
