Hi, I'm a BSN graduate from the Philippines Batch 2007. I recently got my green card and is now living here in California. I submitted my Initial Application for RN licensure last August 17. Check was encashed on October 12. My school already submitted all necessary requirements bcak in June. I have a proof of delivery which I also submitted to CABRN. I applied via mail. Back in 2007, I applied for NCLEX-RN and got my eligibility letter in June 2008 however, I wasn't able to take the exam because life happened!! And I didn't have any visa yet or whatsover. I regret not taking it back then because I didn't expect all these concurrency issues to happen!! Anyway, fast forward to today, I'm patiently waiting for any update from the board. It's been 11 weeks since they received the application. I am hoping for a positive response and I trust my school submitted all that's necessary. Anyone in the same position as I am??? Any of you waiting for your eligibility too and what's your timeline???
I have a breeze account but I applied the old school way: by mail. lol. It doesn't reflect on my breeze account so I don't really know how that goes. I will just have to wait via mail I guess.
Hi,
Just curious what documents did you include with your application and what documents did you ask your school to provide?? I really don't have any idea. Hope you can help me. I also graduated from Phil. on year 2009 and just passed my NCLEX-PN but while I'm working as an LVN I want to fix up my documents for NCLEX-RN. Hope you can help me Thanks in advance.
Hi osis. I didn't request anything particularly from my school. I just sent my mom the forms required by CABRN like Request for Transcript and Breakdown of Educational Requirement forms. You can find those online and just print and sign them. My school already knew the things to send along with it as my mom said.Your school should also do the same. And then CABRN received it in 3-4 days directly from my school then I sent my application after that.
Congrats joneeayace!! That's great news. Maybe that's because you already passed the NCLEX last 2008? Bentolbeng and I haven't taken and passed the NCLEX yet but still applying for eligibility. We both hope that we get the same response nevertheless. Congratulations again!! You inspire us.
