Hi everyone! So I am gathering myself and trying to organize my study material for I failed my first nclex exam taken last week. I just got my CPR letter from the BON, so I'm getting ready to study again..
My question is, for those of you who used saunders: do you recommend reading the entire book, or do practice exam under the content area and learn from the rationale? I'm planning to make flashcards because that's what worked for me during the nursing program, but it seems like writing will take time.
Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Good luck to all of us!!

I did all the 4000+ questions from the CD only, but I made sure I studied the rationales in each questions even if i get it right. The questions from Saunders are quite easy and obvious but some are hard too. If you want u can try Kaplan and NCSBN learning extension along with it because the level of difficulty of their questions i must say is comparable to actual NCLEX.
I did Kaplan already but I am weak on content.

I'm not sure if I passed or not - just took NCLEX two days ago, but what seemed to help me the most in studying was focusing on the areas I knew I was weak at FIRST... you can always review the stuff you're strong on towards the end, right before the exam. For me, I was terrible at select all that apply questions, and Peds/OB - so I really focused on those things first. Fingers crossed - I hope it worked!!
