This is just for fun.
I'm excited about starting the fall semester in a few weeks, and school supplies are on sale!!! One of the most fun parts of school, for me, is getting all the shiny new stuff for organizing my classes.
So, here's my question: how do you organize your coursework? Do you use a single, big binder with tabs? Individual spiral notebooks? What about folders? Do you prefer the Pee-Chee style with flaps along the edges, or the traditional pocket-style? Or perhaps you don't use folders at all?
And what about writing instruments? Do you like a mechanical pencil for taking notes? Pen? Gel or ballpoint?
C'mon, people! Let's get down to the nitty-gritty here! :roll
good ideas, will review, always willing to try somethin new...
i have tried the proven studied approach, u know, taking notes on one side, reviewing and rewriting on the other using loose leaf paper and spirals.. i think i prefer loose leaf and binders, that way if something needs to be added...well....
i am as well addicted to office and school supplies, wonder why????
I LOVE buying new school supplies!!! I use the spiral notebooks in class, and when I get home, I organized everything into a binder with dividers. I am very picky about my notes, paperwork, worksheets given out. I am a Virgo.....perfectionist in every since of the word. I re-write my notes (more legibally), and this also helps me study. I use a different color tab for every course I'm taking. I also use different highlighters for different things. For homework assignments I use one highlighter, for test material I use a different color highlighter, etc. I love using the roller ball gel pens. I am very anal about the pens I write with. Something in my head tells me I can only write with certain types of pens. For any math classes I use mechanical pencils. I keep a 3 hole punch with me for any hand-outs that are given to us. I PROBABLY ORGANIZE A LITTLE TOO MUCH!!! But this always helps me. I can't stand not being able to find something when I need it. Anyway, good luck to everyone this fall semester!!!:balloons:

Wow! Good luck in school. It is so incredibly awesome. I, too, am starting nursing school, actually tomorrow here at the local tech school. I am an older mom (42) and ready to rock and roll. I have been in the healthcare field, but in the ancillary area, so now it is OUR time to rock.
