Hello,
My name is Patrick Protacio and im very interested in becoming a registered nurse. Im now 26yrs old and i beleived that nursing is a job that i can definitely succeed in. Im looking into numerous schools in new jersey, but it seems like all of them has some type of a waiting list. I've been out of college for the past 5 years and i don't know how im going to do it. Being a native of the philippines, i've been contemplating if it'll be better for me to attend school in the philippines. Please if any of the readers have an advice on my matter. please. all advices will be greatly appreciated. Thank You and hope to here from you guys. take care.

You can attend school in the Philippines, but you will need to complete the BSN over there and it is four years of training; if you train in the US, you can attend just a two year program.
Even though you are a US citizen, if you train overseas, you need to go thru the samwe licensing process that foreign nurses do, menaing that you may be required to write the CGFNS exam, or go thru the CES process of CGFNS. You are not exempted from that because you are an American.
