Anytime anyone attempt to move a badly disabled person by themselves accidents and injuries are likely to happen. To blame the person who is trying to do this by themselves is not going to solve anything. My experience has taught me that most people attempt to move someone by themselves when they should not because there is no one to help. If this is the case, then the injury is the responsbility of the institutions who fail to provide proper assistance. Don't come back at me and say the attendant should know better blah, blah, blah. Many of these facilities use poorly trained, poorly educated people and poorly supervised employees who just are not capable of recognizing the danger.
