I hope you dont mind me posting this, I have been on allnurses for a while, but I guess you can call me a bit of a lurker:wink2::wink2:

I have been reading your posts and replied to others. Can I just say that you are a very sensitive, caring person. The kind of nurse I would want to work with, take care of me and be my backup. As a preceptor I worked with plenty students who just didnt give a damn, it was just a way of getting a job that most didnt want to do, and wouldnt last in the world of nursing.

I wish you well in your career...you are a great nurse:nurse: trust me.

ps.. i,ve just passed the nclex here in ny, so now its my turn to be a beginner again

Not really been on or more accurate not paying that much attention blame the job.

Thank you for the heads up, i love when i know i have given my patients good care not just pushed meds or food etc at them. Some days are rough these week the past two shifts were bad Ward round with discharges/admissions and today i went to another ward i have never been on beofre after 2 hr on my own i had 12 pt on a more acute ward more meds that took forever don't think i shone.

still no one died.
