I will add one more thing. It gets very costly applying to and interviewing for CRNA school, especially if you have to travel a long distance for the interview. The more schools you apply to, the better your odds of getting in, but you have to balance that with how much you can afford to spend on interviewing for programs. I think 3-5 is a good number.
Also, you have to take into account when the schools interview. You may be able to apply to a few schools first and if you need to, you can apply to others later. Some schools have 'rolling admissions' so you find out soon after interviewing if you are accepted or not. Keep this in mind when planning your application process.

My time to apply to CRNA school is a couple years off still, but I'm curious. How many schools did you apply to? There are about five schools that interest me but geographically they are pretty far away from each other. Does five seem to be too many, too less, about right, or whatever floats my boat?
