I am hoping someone can lend some insight to be about the prevelance of nurse practitioners (most specifically ED) in the state of NV. My family and I are planning a move to a nice rural area in the mountains

Hi I am a FNP in rural Nevada. I love it. It's beautiful, and the people love NP's here. I work as a nurse practitioner in urgent care and also in a nursing home, but teach full-time in an ADN program. Let me know if you have specifics!

I am also looking at NP jobs in NV. I am a FNP but a rookie. I was deployed overseas for the military reight after my boards and have not had a chance to practice. I was a ICU/ER RN for 10 years and am currently a AF flight nurse. I look foward to the change from DC and a rewarding career!

Any help will be apreciated! Job listings, cost of living, wages, quality of life...

Thanks!

Kim
