I've heard very good things about this program. It's literally an urgent care training program meant for primary care NPs, PAs and MDs wanting to learn urgent care/emergency medicine skills and procedures:

They used to have all in person skills classes to learn suturing, setting bones, etc. I don't know how that will go in the COVID-era but worth looking into. Good luck!
This course looks amazing. I would love to transition into an urgent care setting at some point, so I think I may use some CE funds for this.
I just started working in internal medicine about 4 months ago, would you recommend other similar courses that I could build up my knowledge base with? I generally spend 30-60min a night looking at my weak points in UpToDate, but I think my time would be better spent doing courses such as this.

There are numerous boot camps like this, l will ask around and see which others I can find!

Thanks, this course looks awesome (and affordable)! I'll definitely look into it.

I'm an FNP wanting to work in urgent care. Right now I work in an unrelated outpatient specialty, but I have several years of ER/critical care nursing experience. I've applied to numerous urgent care places but they all want prior experience.
I'm looking for recommendations on courses & training options (outside of obtaining an acute care NP) to help boost my resume to land an urgent care position. Has anyone tried the "HippoEd" or "UrgentCareCrashCourse" bootcamps (and if so, do you recommend them)?
Anyone know of any other ways to become a more competitive candidate for UC?
