I couldn't find any recent threads about the Minute Clinic, so wanted to ask for more information. I'm thinking about applying for their FNP clincal program in California for next year. For folks familiar with them (via employment or recent experience precepting):
What geographic area were you in and what was your load of patients like (acute, medically underserved vs seeing the same things frequently)?
Are there enough patients to make it worthwhile for a student?
Anything else you have to say about your experience would be greatly appreciated.

I think this is the worst idea for a student NP. I don't think any NP should work for CVS minute clinics. It is algorithmic. There are no independent decisions being made. You are the MA, janitor, salesman, etc. You will not be exposed to the broad range of diagnosis and treatments that you need.
