Thank you for your response. Could you offer any direction regarding the personal statement. I have drafted one; I have done a lot of research on how to compose one. However, it seems there are multiple approaches to take. How did you format your personal statement when you applied? As an example, did you open it telling about something from your childhood that peaked your interest in nursing, then describe a nursing experience that has impacted you as a nurse, then talk about where you want to go with your career? I also see suggestions that you should describe why you want the school your applying or some people talk about their nursing career and background. I have been reluctant to turn it in, this is the only thing holding me back from completing my app because I don't know what they are looking for regarding the format of the text. If you could offer me some direction I would be so grateful!
