I start A&P 1 on Monday and have lost some motivation. I came down with the flu last Monday and I'm trying desperately to recover. During this past week in the midst of my fever, body aches, chills and overall weakness, I had a moment of *I can't do school any longer*. This attitude following an awesome highly motivated, I can do all things, Spring semester.
Please tell me this is the flu talking. Has anyone else been through this?

I am actually going through kind of the same thing. I just started school two weeks ago and I'm already losing the motivation. I am actually talking with my boss tomorrow about a better job and if he says yes I'm going to stay with him. Nursing has been in my heart but once I got in the AP class I feel like its not what I thought it was going to be and have lost all motivation. Idk if its because I realized tgis isn't for me or if I'm scared. Good luck with school and all that matters is you're happy in the end.

Sorry you are both feeling that way. I would think that you being sick has much to do with you feeling that way, so tomorrow when you go to class I bet you get some of that mojo back. School is fun, learning is fun!
As for you TKeith8109, from what some nurses are saying, nursing school is nothing like actually nursing, so it would be hard to say from just your A & P class if you would like it. A & P is hard, but I did better in A & P 2 than I did in 1. I actually began to really like the sciences at that point. It took three BIO courses for me to get that into it though. I just wasn't going to give up until it took! Best to you both whatever you decide.
