Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) - Fall 2022

Hey y’all!! I’m taking prerequisites and I’m hoping to apply by May 2022 Lord willing. I noticed that the previous program started a post and figured why not get one started for the next class. I’ll update this post when I apply and if/when I get accepted.

No, it’s past business hours so they’ll get back to us tomorrow I assume! On castle branch does everyone’s documents (after purchasing the medical documents tracker) say the due date is 07/01? IDK if I’m the only one, if so I’ll email tomorrow cause uhhhh that’s impossible lmao

its just way too rushed, my friend (she has no experience just her theory) said they make you do it fast so you cant flush your system, but we all knew the results were coming this week anyway so I don't see why they would think that's necessary. I'm hoping they say the test come back in ten regular days, cuz there's not enough business days to make it so the results are in on time. it just sucks cuz I have to work 9-5 next two days and I cant just up and tell my boss I need a half day off cuz I need to take a drug test with less than 48 hour notice. I mean that's just ridiculous, so I hope I'm just panicking a bit and misunderstood it.

It doesn’t seem like it has to be 10 business days, on the checklist it just says 10 days and July 13th. The paper work for the clinical requirements even though in castle branch it says 07/01 on the checklist they say they need it by 08/15 which makes me feel a lot better. I still asked tho because I don’t wanna not be able to submit my paperwork because the system says it’s late.

Yeah thats what my boyfriend said, that it doesn't say business days and we could probably assume regular days. So the latest we could take our test would be Tuesday the third! Let's hope ! OMG Im so excited to meet everyone and do this together, this is the most competitive program as well, so I really hope we can form a good support system and build each other up.

Yeah I’m calling around tomorrow to make an appointment hopefully for Friday *fingers crossed*
 

But I’m so excited to see who’s going to be in our class. It’s nice to already have talked to you and can’t wait to meet you hopefully in class. The competition part is over thank god!

I actually got an email back from the Lee clinical instructor regarding castle branch due dates being set to 07/01! She said it was a mistake in castle branch and she will be contacting them to have it fixed.

So it looks like we are only allowed to use labcorp for the drug test?? I was able to get in on Friday but that it the SOONEST they had! And there is only one location for the fingerprinting?? And the earliest appointment for that is next Tuesday! WTH!?

How were you able to schedule your drug test, I tried calling but they were all closed by 3 — at least the locations near me were. I’m calling tomorrow to schedule for Friday hopefully! But yes!! I made my finger printing allll the way out at the Naples UPS on Tuesday at like 1:30 loool it’s crazy.

Actually I was able to schedule one online for today at a fort myers location! But you’re right a lot of them are booked up until next week which sucks! They’re gonna have to extend the deadline probably.
