Hey y’all!! I’m taking prerequisites and I’m hoping to apply by May 2022 Lord willing. I noticed that the previous program started a post and figured why not get one started for the next class. I’ll update this post when I apply and if/when I get accepted.
I really hope they extend the deadline, I mean how can they give us 12 hours notice to get all those tests done right before a holiday weekend? surely they don't wanna lose some of their students because of this time crunch. it would really suck to make it this far and get dropped because of this! ? I haven't even been able to be happy about getting into my first choice
I couldn’t get my physical appointment until July 25th ? since my physicians office only does the TB test on Monday’s. They’re going to try to order some lab work done before hand but it’s crazy out here. I feel like I’m running around with my head cut off. I’ll feel SO much better once I get that “eligible for placement”complete!
So when we schedule our doctors appt. Do we say we are scheduling a physical? They were all kinds of confused when I called and said I need a health report for nurisng school. Then I read the form. They were like so, do you need a TB shot too or? I'm like IDK. Don't remember last one I got.

Well I was already due for a physical so I scheduled that with them and on the health form it shows the physical portion of the form and then I added that I needed a couple of vaccines and possible titer for my HepB vaccine since I got them when I was younger. Pretty much just let them know everything you need! It has it all on the form. I sent it to my physician in my portal. I think I got my tetorifice recently and the flu this past fall but I’m gonna double check LOL. It’s a lot. But, you can always email the clinical instructor for your campus!
On the done checklist paper that was attached to our acceptance email. If you go down to clinical requirements, it’ll give you a website you can click on and instructions on how to sign up and you ultimately have to pay $38 for all the forms. Once you do that it updates in your castle branch where you can view, download, and later print the forms to bring with you or to sign and send back.
