UF Accelerated BSN, Summer 2018

Hi all!

It's pretty early on but I'd love to meet and chat with the potential applicants for this program. I also think it'd be great to have this forum in case we stumble upon application questions and such. Maybe some successful applicants in the past may pop in to say hello as well!

What are your feelings about this program or even UF in general? Are you applying to other programs? Where are you from?

I have not, but with the deposit due on the 23rd, I can assume that more spots will open up around that time. Reading last years blog leads me to believe more students get off the waiting list closer to the start of the program.

Right there with you! I don't understand why they said in the email that we would hear back by March 16th... I sent the advisor an email but no response.

Yeah I emailed him last week because I never heard anything, not even about being waitlisted. He said he would be able to give me an update by the end of last week, which made me think I was waitlisted. However I still haven't heard anything, so who knows.

Hi everyone! For those who have been waitlisted, has anyone else heard nothing in regards to an update on their status? Stressed beyond belief and anxiously waiting..

The only hope I can give is that those who were offered a spot have until the 23rd to pay their deposit..so I'm assuming not all of those people are actually going to commit since decisions for other state schools came out in the last week. I'm trying to be patient, but it's not going very well.

Is it the 23rd of March that the deposit is due? I am so anxious to hear and don't know what to think, I wish they would just give us an answer the wait is killer!

I petitioned, and Kenneth told me I would find out about being put on the waitlist or not by Friday the 23rd. So people on the waitlist will probably hear something that day as well!
