Hi guys! You all helped me when I was a nursing student. Now I am a RN with 6 months under my belt in oncology/med surg. I'm looking to relocate to Corpus Christi from Fort Lauderdale/Miami I wanted to know how is the job market there? Ideally I would love to move in the next 3 months (November 2014) but can push it until February. How far in advance should I apply for jobs? Is there a "busy" season? Is it hard to get into driscolls because ideally I want to work in peds. Thanks so much!!!
Hey just a quick question as to which part of Florida you are in south, north, central. I'm a new grad looking to get into med surg here in south Florida but it's extremely difficult.
Specializes in M/S, LTC, Corrections, PDN & drug rehab.
Since you have experience you should be able to get a job pretty easily. I would apply with the Bay Area/Doctor's Regional system but there is Spohn as well. DCH wants you to have minimum 1 year peds experience. Good luck!
