Does anyone know of any good nursing schools that are not so strict on their Pre-requisite policies.

By that I mean where they do not penalize you or mark you as ineligible because you retook a core science requirement (microbiology in my case) and received a "C."

And, where they will let you retake a core science class at their school.

Thanks guys :)

I'm looking into Hunter College, NYU, Mount Saint Vincent, Binghampton, Rutgers...but any school that you know of would be helpful!

Preferably a BSN program :D

You could check Suny Brockport.

Hunter doesn't want you to retake pre-reqs and even if you do they will only accept your first grade I think. I go to LIU-Brooklyn and they aren't strict, however pre-reqs are considered nursing pre-reqs and core requirements (basically you have to complete all non-nursing classes before you can start nursing courses). Lowest you can get in a science class is a C and you can retake any class you don't get a C in. However, they are private so tuition is VERY expensive.

I'm in New Jersey. But I'm looking at ABSN's only. Are you looking at ABSN programs or traditional BSN programs.

I know a couple of programs here where a grade of "C" for your prereqs are acceptable. I will add, Rutgers' Traditional BSN program is pretty competitive.
