I can't seem to get into a nursing program. I was wondering if it would be good to get a bachelor's and apply to an accelerated second degree to rn. what would be the expectations if i were to apply with a bachelor's degree in let's say health administration. what kind of GPA do they look for?

i havent receive a call back . did they tell you what the cut off point score was? what was yours if you dont mind me asking

try university of nevada las vegas! they accept people summer, spring, and fall. they require a 3.0 GPA

Well you should apply to the school and be accepted as a Pre Nursing Major. They still require you to take Nurs 299 at UNLV (unless you can take it somewhere else and the course is equivalent) and a couple of other pre requisites. If I were you, I would apply as soon as possible and speak with an advisor they assign to you.

I am considering applying there too. What is your overall GPA. It cannot be as bad as mine. I have retaken Chemistry numerous times and I'm not sure that would look too good on an application :/

I am considering to apply to UW for the BSN program. What is usually the acceptance rates for GPA? What is the percentage of applicants that are usually accepted. Would be very much appreciated! What were your stats?

meanwhile i took a month long CNA course so that i may work in a hospital while waiting for the summer. it is a great way to gain experience! and once you graduate from nursing school it will be easier for you to find a job!

The cut off point was at about 86 points!

well i am currently retaking Chem 111 at CSN. I will have a 85.6. If i retake chem 110 over winter session in california (where i am from) i will have an 87.83. It seems as if it is soo much work and hassle. I am going to call tomorrow to ask what the cut off points were for the past two semesters.

do you have a 85.7 with all your prereqs completed? i want to apply for summer 2012 but i feel as if i should retake a class such as chem 110 so that i can have a total of 87

what do u mean they wanted you to wait a min of 10 years of not meeting requirements? what are the requirements?

that would be really helpful! thank you. also im not quite sure how the max score is 100.7 when the # of attempt max points is 15 and the science base max points is 10.3...
