Florida Hospital or Orlando Health????

Hello Allnurses!

HELP!!! I love this site because people really do respond to you!! Anyways...my question is I have 2 job offers, one from Orlando Health and one from Florida Hospital..They are both in Medsurg/Oncology..but my question is..I am a new graduate nurse so this will be my first job and I do not know much about either hospitals and do not know which one to choose. I need to figure it out ASAP!!! Does anyone work at either?? Which one should I choose? Its Dr. Phillips HOspital and Florida Hospital Orlando Campus..THANK YOU!!

Ist choose the hospital that has a good funding(less likely to make you redundant due to financial problems)

2nd,since ur a newly grad,i will choose the one that will give you a much better experience,

3rd, choose the one that near to ur place(saves u fuel and time to wake up)

4th, during interview what hints you have that they are not so nice people to work with(then thrash them,,go with ur instinct of which one will guide you to be a best nurse.

Lasty $$$$$$$$$$$$$ which one gie u more dollars

How did u land a job as a new grad?? I tried so many times, and was told they dont hire new grads (i have 2 years of exp. from europe).

Hey thank you Joe17..for both interviews they seemed extremely nice..pay about the same..same benefits and like i said same floor..so same experience! I still have 4 days left to decide..hopefully i can think of somethin!

Hello, SpelaD I just got a call from human resources (I applied 3 months ago) for a grad nurse hiring event..went there and got hired. I really do not have any other advice about getting in..calling them doesnt help thats why I went to Orlando Health..they hire a lot of new grads you should try there.

Apply online...Dr. PHillips and South Seminole hire lots of new nurses..

they have a graduate nurse residency program so i think they encourge new grads to apply :)
