Has anyone taken the EKG test for FL Hospital? How hard is the test? Is it computerized or paper? I have to take it in a few weeks and I am not confident at all... HELP Please!!

When I took it 6 years ago it was paper and covered just the major dysrhythmias and when I started in the ED I took am EKG course. Have you taken ACLS yet? If so that's a good beginning. Good luck
No we will only take ACLS after weeks pass the test... There is a class on EKG that we have to take before the test but the class is kind of freaking me out because there is so much content thank you so much for ur input!

Glad I found this thread! I also have to take the ECG test next week too. I'm so nervous about this test. Are you guys in the GN program?
yes I'm… what campuses are you going to? How are you preparing? I am so nervous about the test
I'm at the main campus (FL Hospital Orlando). Been reading and doing the print out, Incredibly Easy ECG book, and doing the online module we have to do from Echelon.
Besides worrying about this ECG test, I also have to find an apartment to live in if I pass since I'm in S.FL

I'll be in the main campus as well and I'm pretty much doing the same thing as you are to prepare... What floor were you hired for?

I just got accepted to the New Grad program starting in December. I also have to take the EKG class and was wondering if there was any new updated information that you had on the test and how to go about studying for it. Any little bit of help is appreciated!
