Opening a thread for those applying for FGCU CRNA 2026. Anyone else applying?

Honored that your first post was quoting mine and you are correct in stating everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
As an admin, you know every applicant works hard for years for an opportunity to enter CRNA school. They should not be afraid to share their excitement or discuss their experiences about FGCU or any school before, during, or after the application period. It is not about cooperating, but the fact that they have been injected with a level of fear to speak.

Again this is your opinion. I wish the best in the profession!

We all know how competitive these programs are and unfortunately not everyone gets the opportunity to be accepted. Every school is different, and coming from someone who had a few interviews cross my path, I can honestly say that the director of this program cares very much about the integrity of it. I was not offended by the request, and it was made I assume not only to protect the program but also to protect the people's feelings that were not given the opportunity this time around. We are all adults and we all have free will and I assure you that there was no fear being felt on my end. I was honored to be given the opportunity and that was a very small request to uphold, one I had no problem agreeing to. This process can be very emotional, and it's possible you may be feeling a lot right now. If I could make a recommendation, I wouldn't burn any bridges in this field, no matter how small, because you never know what could come back one day. I wish you well on your journey, and peace moving forward.

Again, everyone has their own opinion and I respect yours. I can assure you I am not feeling emotional because I am exactly where I need to be.
Congratulations, I am very happy for you that you found your place at FGCU. I think if you reflect back at earlier posts people come here for information because it is a long process and they can't possibly know everything going on with each school they apply to. There is always someone else that can share their wealth of information about a school that may help another. I just let them know they would not be finding any information as people were asked not to post.
I did my fact finding on this program by speaking with current students and alums in private. I think it is wise to speak with as many people as you can about a program before you make a decision as it is both a monetary and time investment. There was always a common denominator of thought and I will leave it at that. I never meant to strike such a nerve by stating my opinion. I am sorry if I did so. Wishing you only the best! Good Luck.
Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong place but I'm a LPN bridge student who will be graduating soon and I'm hoping to work in the ICU for a couple years and apply to this program. It's definitely my top choice, can someone give me any advice or tips? I am interested in PICU or peds cardiac ICU, does anyone here know if they accept peds experience, or should I aim for adults? My cumulative GPA will be about 3.6 when I'm finished, I appreciate any and all input. Good luck to you all who are embarking on this journey!

FYI, it is silent on the boards because you are told not to share information with others nor post anything.
